Fake toll bills & DMV texts
A text demands payment for a toll or traffic ticket and threatens penalties. The link may lead to a fake payment page.
What to do: Do not reply or use the link. Check directly with your toll provider or the agency using its official website. TxDMV says it does not collect toll or traffic fines.

Someone claims your account is in danger or your utility service will be cut off unless you pay now. Caller ID can be faked.
